CLLFT establishes this Privacy Policy, aiming to transparently inform Users about the website hosted at the following address: https://CLLFT.com (hereinafter the "Site"), and how personal data is collected and processed by CLLFT.

The term "User" refers to any user, whether a natural or legal person, who visits the Site or communicates with the Site in any way. In its capacity as the data controller, CLLFT determines all technical, legal, and organizational means and purposes for processing Users' personal data. CLLFT undertakes to take all necessary measures to ensure that the processing of personal data complies with the Law of July 30, 2018, concerning the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (hereinafter the "Law") and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons concerning the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (i.e., the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR); hereinafter the "Regulation").

CLLFT is free to choose a natural or legal person to process the personal data of users at its request and on its behalf (hereinafter the "Processor" or "Subcontractor"). In such a case, CLLFT undertakes to select a Processor that provides sufficient guarantees regarding the technical and organizational measures for processing personal data, in accordance with the Law and the Regulation.

2. Processing of Personal Data

The use of the Site by Users may result in the collection of personal data. The processing of this data by CLLFT, in its capacity as Controller or by service providers acting on behalf and for the account of CLLFT, is carried out in accordance with the Law and the Regulation. Personal data is processed by CLLFT, in accordance with the purposes mentioned below, through the following methods:
  • Completing the contact form or input form of this website
  • When the User contacts us via email, social media, phone, or letter
  • When we prepare a quote or enter into an agreement with the User
  • When the User contacts us in any other way (recorded)

3. Purpose of Processing Personal Data

In accordance with Article 13 of the Regulation, the purposes of processing personal data are communicated to the User. These purposes are as follows:
  • to enable the performance of the agreement, with the legal basis of contract performance
  • to provide services (e.g., in connection with registration for a CLLFT training course) (contract performance)
  • General customer management including invoicing
  • processing payments and accounting processing (contract performance)
  • all legal obligations to keep the data

4. Personal Data That May Be Processed

The User agrees that, during the visit and use of the Site, CLLFT collects and processes the following personal data:
The information provided by the User:
  • Name
  • Address
  • Place of residence
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Function (within the school or center where he/she works)
  • billing address
CLLFT collects and processes this personal data in accordance with the terms and principles described in this Privacy Policy.

5. Consent

By accessing and using the Site, the User declares that he/she has read and given his/her free, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent to the processing of his/her personal data. This agreement relates to the content of this Privacy Policy. Consent is given by the positive and active action of the User checking the box for the privacy policy under 'Agree to the Privacy Policy.' This consent is an essential condition for carrying out certain actions on the Site or enabling the User to enter into a contractual relationship with CLLFT. Any agreement binding CLLFT and a User with respect to the services and goods offered on the Site is subject to the User's acceptance of the Privacy Policy. The User agrees that the Controller, in accordance with the terms and principles contained in this Privacy Policy, collects and processes his/her personal data provided on the Site or in connection with the services offered by CLLFT for the purposes stated above. The User has the right to withdraw this consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the prior consent.

6. Retention Period of Users' Personal Data

In accordance with Article 13, paragraph 2 of the Regulation, the Controller retains personal data only for as long as is reasonably necessary to achieve the purposes for which they are processed. CLLFT does not retain your personal data for longer than necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was processed. CLLFT undertakes not to keep the data for more than a maximum of 2 years after the last contact/use (or the termination of the relationship or cooperation), except for personal data that we are required to retain based on specific legislation (including accounting or tax and social legislation) or in the case of longer contractual liability or in the case of an ongoing dispute for which the personal data are still necessary.

7. Recipients of Data and Disclosure to Third Parties

Personal data may be transmitted to employees, collaborators, subcontractors, processors, or suppliers of CLLFT, provided adequate guarantees are offered for the security of the data and they collaborate with CLLFT in marketing the products or providing services. They act under the direct authority of CLLFT and are responsible, in particular, for collecting, processing, or subcontracting this data.

 The personal data collected by CLLFT may also be disclosed if necessary to respect the law or respond to a judicial or administrative decision.

8. User Rights

In accordance with the Regulation, the User has the following rights with regard to his/her personal data: 
  • Right to information and access: The User has the right to obtain information about the processing of his/her personal data and a copy of that personal data.
  • Right to rectification: The User has the right to rectify inaccurate personal data and to complete incomplete personal data.
  • Right to erasure (‘right to be forgotten’): The User has the right to obtain the erasure of his/her personal data in the cases provided for by law.
  • Right to restriction of processing: The User has the right to obtain the restriction of processing in the cases provided for by law.
  • Right to data portability: The User has the right to receive the personal data concerning him/her, which he/she has provided to the Controller, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and has the right to transmit this data to another controller without hindrance from the Controller to which the personal data have been provided.
  • Right to object: The User has the right to object to the processing of his/her personal data in the cases provided for by law.
  • Right to withdraw consent: If the processing is based on consent, the User has the right to withdraw his/her consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
  • Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, the User has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of his/her habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement if the User considers that the processing of personal data relating to him/her infringes the Regulation.
  • The User can exercise his/her rights by contacting CLLFT via email at [email protected] or by mail at the following address: Paul De Ryckstraat 31, 9040 Sint-Amandsberg. The User is required to provide proof of identity (a copy of his/her identity card) when exercising his/her rights. CLLFT will respond as soon as possible, and in any event within one month of receipt of the request.

9. Security Measures

CLLFT undertakes to take appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the personal data it processes. These measures are designed to prevent personal data from being accidentally or unlawfully destroyed, lost, altered, disclosed, or accessed in an unauthorized manner. CLLFT regularly assesses and evaluates the effectiveness of its technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of the processing. However, it is impossible to guarantee absolute security, and CLLFT cannot be held responsible for acts of hacking or unauthorized access to personal data.

10. Cookies

The Site may use cookies, which are small text files stored on the User's computer or device by the web browser. Cookies may contain information such as the User's IP address, the date and time of the visit, and preferences or settings chosen during the visit. Cookies are used for various purposes, including ensuring the proper functioning of the Site, analyzing the use of the Site, and providing personalized content and advertising. The User can configure his/her web browser to refuse cookies or to be notified when cookies are sent. However, some features of the Site may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

11. Amendments

CLLFT reserves the right to modify or amend this Privacy Policy at any time, in whole or in part. In the event of any changes, CLLFT will inform Users by publishing the updated Privacy Policy on the Site. Users are encouraged to review the Privacy Policy regularly to stay informed about CLLFT's practices regarding the collection, processing, and protection of personal data.

12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

This Privacy Policy is governed by Belgian law. Any dispute relating to the interpretation, validity, or execution of this Privacy Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Ghent, Belgium.
